Clipper's Soccer

My soccer team is pretty darn cool. Most sports teams dress up nice for classes that day before they head out to a tournament, but my team we dress up 80's style. It was tons of fun. We had spagetti night together and watched Back to the Future! Good times!
Our tournament went well. I was so ecstatic to finally play, we've spent the first part of the year just practicing, so it was good to finally get out there!! My coaches were laughing pretty hard while they were watching me play because they were like of my word she is so intense and does not smile. So not Jacquie. I get a little intense when it comes to sports. I started smiling more after I got my first goal though!! It was a really fun weekend bonding with my team mates, on the court and off (Especially in the showers!!). I have a pretty blue swollen ankle right now from some girl who kicked me (I got her back don't worry). But that didn't stop me, I still played a couple games on it, and scored!

It happened. . .I can hardly believe it myself. . .it started off slowly with just a bit of a trickle, then the snot would just not stop coming. I tried to brush it off as though nothing was wrong. Yes I was indeed in denial! Then I could hardly breath due to the build up of snot in my nose. . .the congestion was just too much for me, it started to travel to my head, and then my voice also started to sound very nasily. There was no use denying it anymore. I was getting sick folks. yes the girl who never gets sick. That's right, I am sick with a head cold. It's been almost a week now, I think I am getting better though. But everyday is different, so we will see how much snot I have to wipe on my shirt sleeve tomorrow!!

Back in the 'Port

I am now back in good ol' Caronport! I am very exctied to be back and feel at home again. Can't wait until my roomie gets back. Chantal hurry up will you, gosh!! My ride back was good, the roads were awesome, thank you Jesus. I did have pretty bad roads on Sunday when I went to pick up Michelle & Andria in Regina at the airport. But I got there safe. It was so great to see them again, missed them terribly!! I had my first class today, which was Intro to Psychology, and I think I am really going to enjoy it. My teacher is pretty entertaining! And tonight I have my video production 2 class. Should be good. Anyways I should get bundled up to go out into the blowing snow now YAY!

Happy 2007!

Happy New Years! Hope everyone's New Years went awesome!! I am feeling led to take this opportunity to brag about how my bowling team won on new years eve. We were playing bingo bowling and the first team to finish wins, and well we were pretty hardcore and worked up a good sweat. Becky and Alex were my wonderful team mates. Good job ladies!
Oh yeah I almost forgot....
New Years eve morning we woke up to an extra 2 feet of snow! It was a Sunday morning so we had to get to church somehow. I was staying with Liza and she is the worship pastor at my church so she had to get there. So I was like there is no way my car is getting out and I dont' wanna be stuck in the house all day by myself so I went with her. It was a gong show and a half! Backing out of the garage she proceeds to knock off her review mirror, then I had to push the car down the backlane. We got unto the main road which was still quite full of snow, but I had to keep pushing and she couldn't stop the car otherwise it would get stuck so I had to run for quite some time before catching up and jumping into the moving vechicle and bashing my knee in the process! We picked up a couple friends on the way in the cramped car. Kudos to you Liza for your excellent snow storm driving! Only a true Winnipeger knows how to drive in those winter conditions. Oh man good times, good times!!!!
